Scope rings with dovetail base clamp directly to the rifle’s factory dovetail, giving a clean, low-profile install on rifles that don’t have a Picatinny rail.

Why choose dovetail rings?

  • Direct mount: no rail needed; lighter and lower over bore.
  • Simple & tidy: great for classic rimfires and hunting setups.
  • Know the tradeoffs: fewer models and rarely QD compared to Picatinny rings, and less fore/aft adjustment.

Tube size & height

  • Tube diameters: 1" (25.4 mm), 30 mm, 34 mm—match rings to your scope tube.
  • Heights: choose the lowest that clears the objective and caps; verify bolt-handle and barrel clearance.

Install tips

  • Degrease mating surfaces/screws; apply Loctite threadlocker where recommended.
  • Torque to spec for base and cap screws; tighten caps evenly and level the reticle.
  • Witness-mark screws and recheck after your first range session.
