CZ Shadow 2 thumb rests

A thumb rest, also called a gas pedal, replaces the slide stop on your CZ Shadow 2. It gives your support hand thumb a fixed place to press on, so your grip is more consistent and the pistol returns faster after each shot. All thumb rests here are drop-in, with no fitting or modification needed. You can choose from Eemann Tech and BT.

Thumb rests you can choose

• Eemann Tech shielded thumb rest: made for the Shadow 2. An integrated shield keeps your thumb away from the moving slide.
• Eemann Tech thumb rest for the Shadow 2 and TS 2: 44 mm total width with a 33 mm wide thumb rest.
• Eemann Tech thumb rest for the Shadow 2 Compact, P-01 and 75 D Compact: 41.5 mm total width, 11 mm wide thumb rest, 13 g. It also fits the Shadow 2 Compact and Carry.
• BT thumb rest: for the Shadow 2 and TS 2, made in Italy.

Does the slide still lock open

The Eemann Tech thumb rests work as a normal slide stop. If you press on the thumb rest during shooting, the slide may not stay open after the last shot. The BT thumb rest is only a thumb rest. It never holds the slide open after the last shot, and you cannot lock the slide open by hand.

Do I need a gunsmith to fit a thumb rest?

No. All thumb rests here are drop-in parts that replace the slide stop.

Will the slide lock open after the last shot?

With the Eemann Tech thumb rests yes, unless you press on the thumb rest. The BT thumb rest never holds the slide open.
