The CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow is the predecessor of the Shadow 2. It shares many parts with the Shadow 2 and the rest of the CZ 75 family, so you have a wide choice of parts. You can choose original CZ parts and parts from Eemann Tech, KMR, Toni System, Zendl, LPA, EGW, DPM, BT, Outer Impact, Angry Bear, Armanov and RH Holsters.

Grip, magwell and base pads

The SP-01 Shadow takes the full size CZ grips. Magwells for the CZ 75B, SP-01 and SP-01 Shadow come from CZ, Toni System and Eemann Tech. Check the main spring plug before you fit one. A plug with a lanyard loop must be replaced with a plug without the loop. Choose short grips and magwell compatible base pads for the magwell.

Sights and red dots

Several sight sets fit both the SP-01 Shadow and the Shadow 2, including adjustable sights from CZ, LPA and Zendl. The factory front sight is 5.5 mm high. For a red dot, a mount from KMR, Zendl, EGW, Toni System, Eemann Tech or Outer Impact replaces the rear sight in its dovetail. The same mounts fit the Shadow 2.

Disconnectors and slide stop

Eemann Tech makes Competition, brass Competition, Ultimate ET and Custom Zero disconnectors, which reduce the trigger pre-travel. A gunsmith should fit the Ultimate ET and Custom Zero. For the slide stop you can choose a BT slide stop, a solid steel Eemann Tech slide stop, or a slide stop with a thumb rest from Eemann Tech or BT.

Springs, guide rod and frame weight

Most springs are shared with the Shadow 2, CZ 75B and TS 2. Eemann Tech makes a competition spring kit and an ultimate kit for the Shadow 2 and SP-01 Shadow. DPM makes a standard and an adjustable recoil reduction system for the SP-01 Shadow. Toni System makes a guide rod that adds weight under the barrel, and an aluminium or brass frame mount with a Picatinny rail option for more weight at the front of the frame.

Bushing and small parts

A precise barrel bushing from Zendl or Eemann Tech reduces play between barrel and slide. Sets of buffers from CZ, KMR and Eemann Tech soften the impact of the slide. Eemann Tech makes all the small pins as single parts or as a set. The slide stop pin lasts about 10 000 shots, and Eemann Tech recommends replacing it about every 8 000 shots. For the original OEM 18 round magazine, Eemann Tech makes a replacement magazine spring.

Frequently asked questions

Do Shadow 2 parts fit my CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow?

Many do. Full size grips, base pads, red dot mounts, several sight sets and many springs fit both.

Can I put a red dot on my CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow?

Yes. A red dot mount replaces the rear sight in its dovetail. You need no milling.

Can I install a competition disconnector in my SP-01 Shadow at home?

Not all of them. The Ultimate ET disconnector should be installed by a gunsmith, and the Custom Zero needs precise fitting.
