CZ P-10C recoil reduction system DPM

Recoil reduction springs

(22 products)

A recoil reduction system replaces the factory recoil spring and guide rod with a multi-spring rod. It softens the recoil, keeps the muzzle flatter for faster follow-up shots and protects the slide and frame. Here you find DPM recoil reduction systems, made in Greece, for many CZ pistols.

Systems by model

  • Shadow 2: a standard system with four external springs, two short ones for heavy ammunition and two long ones for soft and hand loaded ammunition, and an adjustable system with three buffer tubes.
  • Shadow 2 Compact: four external springs, two softer gold-coated and two stronger silver-coated.
  • Shadow 2 Carry: made for the 4 inch barrel, with six external springs and three buffer springs.
  • CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow: a standard and an adjustable system.
  • TS 2, TS 2 Orange, CZ 75 Tactical Sports and TS Czechmate: systems for each model, adjustable on the TS 2 and TS 2 Orange.
  • CZ 75B, P-01 and CZ 75 Compact, CZ 97B and 97BD: systems for each model.
  • P-07, P-09 and P-09F Nocturne, P-09C Nocturne: systems with spring plugs for different loads.
  • P-10C, P-10F, P-10F .45 ACP, P-10S and P-10M: systems for each model.
  • CZ 2075 Rami: a system with three external springs.

How to tune it

The interchangeable external springs and buffer tubes let you match the system to your ammunition. Use a softer setup for light loads and a stronger setup for full power loads. Test the pistol with your ammunition after every change, so the slide cycles reliably.

For regular recoil springs and calibration packs, see Springs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install a DPM system in my CZ at home?

Yes. It replaces the factory recoil spring and guide rod, which you remove when you field strip the pistol.

Which DPM spring should I use in my CZ?

It depends on your ammunition. Start with the springs recommended for your load, then test. If the slide does not lock back or eject reliably, use a softer setup.
