A magwell widens the opening of the grip on your CZ Shadow 2. It guides the magazine into the frame, so your reloads are faster and more consistent. A magwell also adds weight at the bottom of the grip. You can choose magwells from CZ, Toni System and Eemann Tech, and sets of grips and magwell from Lok and Boss Components.
Which pistols the magwells fit
The magwells in this collection are made for the full size Shadow 2. Their compatibility list covers the CZ Shadow 2, Shadow 2 OR, Shadow 2 Orange, Shadow 2 Orange OR, Shadow 2 SA and Shadow 2 Urban Grey. The Shadow 2 Compact and Carry have a shorter grip and need their own magwells, see CZ Shadow 2 Compact & Carry magwells.
Aluminium or brass

Aluminium magwells with a hard anodized finish are light. You can choose one from CZ or Toni System.

Brass magwells are heavier and put more weight at the bottom of the grip. You can choose one from CZ, Toni System or Eemann Tech. The Toni System brass magwell weighs 60 g and is 40 mm wide. The Eemann Tech brass magwell weighs 93 g.
Sets of grips and magwell
A magwell needs short grips. If you want grips and a magwell that match in shape and finish, choose a set:
- Lok Gridlok short grips and magwell in aluminium, with a palm swell profile.
- Lok Gridlok short grips and magwell in brass, with a palm swell profile.
- Boss Components Palm Swell grips and magwell in G10 and aluminium.
Two installation screws come with every set. If you buy a magwell on its own, choose short grips from CZ Shadow 2 short grips [with magwell].
Base pads for a magwell
Factory base pads are not compatible with a magwell. You need base pads marked as magwell compatible. Base pads with extra length also give you something to hold when you pull the magazine out of the magwell. See CZ Shadow 2 base pads [magwell compatible].
